I craft platforms that delightusers and solve hard problems

I'm a software engineer from Charlotte, NC with 15+ years building across SaaS, ecommerce, connected hardware, and AI. I was one of the first two Staff Engineers at Sleepme, where I designed the identity and subscription platform behind the sleep.me relaunch. Before that I led the commerce rebuild at Primo that 10x'ed revenue over 5 years, and I ran infrastructure for The Points Guy from starting on a single VPS to 12M monthly users running on load balanced, highly available AWS infra.

I've spent my career going deep on whatever layer the problem needed, from Cognito and Go APIs to Nuxt frontends and Terraform, usually because I was the one who had to. That range is what I bring to a team: I can see the whole system and I don't need someone else to own the seams.

When I'm not in a codebase I'm probably drinking too much coffee or wandering through a forest with my camera. I'm currently open to full-time senior and staff roles, and to the right consulting work. Say hello.
